FAITH IS NOT BELIEVING THAT GOD CAN….
IT IS KNOWING THAT HE WILL!

In November in America we celebrate the first gathering for Thanksgiving in 1621. Psalms 97:12 “Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of HIS holiness.” Psalms 106:1 “Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for HE is good: for HIS mercy endureth forever.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of GOD in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Respect for others is a wonderful gift, but first you must respect yourself and who you are in Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”.   (KJV)

Today summer arrived and the sky is blue, the sun is bright, the air is warm, the trees are green, the flowers are in full bloom and GOD is still in heaven. Psalms 8:1 “O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast set thy glory above the heavens”. Need something to look forward to? Heaven will be this beautiful every day! Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6).

I cried today, as my son left for his next military post and it made me wonder how GOD must have cried when HIS Son went to the cross and bore our sins. Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: <…>” Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.<…>”.  You see we are made in HIS image if we feel emotion, pain or joy so can GOD, because we are made in his likeness for an example to us, of HIS character.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Today is a great day! Today is the day the LORD has made. Psalms 118:24 “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it“. Being thankful in all things. Psalms 97:12 “Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness“. Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice“. Did you notice that both the Old and New Testaments both say to “Rejoice”? That means to be thankful. Thank GOD.

 PLEASE, come back real soon.

You’re always welcome here.
